Course Description:

Fashion Design is a landmark course for the Academy of Design. This includes the NRA Australian Fashion Design Awards, Australian Wool Awards, Flair Awards and many more making us one of the countries leading education trainers in fashion design. We have a primary focus on design & product development, innovation and designing to international trends and forecasting. We also continue our focus on growing technology within the industry with job diversity and job outcome as a primary objective. Training fashion within the leading creative fields such as Graphic Arts, Photography and Makeup provides exciting opportunities for our students with networking, producing excellent portfolios & exposing them to diverse areas of the fashion and related industries. The Advanced program introduces more fashion business, marketing and developing ranges there are industry ready, you will get to create two mini collections within the Advanced program and extend your skills and readiness for the fashion industry.   10. Design research methodologies; visualising research
  11. Program management, including client liaison
  12. History of design practice, research culture and theory
  13. Grading
  14. Problem-solving; concept development and testing
  15. Technical knowledge: techniques, processes and materials
  16. Garment construction
  17. Ideas generation
  18. CAD grading
  19. Production practices
  20. Business and even extend their skills in pre-press and catalogue / brochure production

OVERSEAS APPLICANTS:
Overseas students require one of the following scores in a language proficiency test: IELTS 5.5; TOEFL 195 ;( Computer Based); TOEFL 530 ;( Paper Based); TOEIC 700

You are eligible for enrolment if you:
Completed year 10 level at secondary school OR completed year 12 or higher OR mature age entry with portfolio of work showing special creative application relevant to the industry.

International Students must be 18 years of age or over
