Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy trains the students in a wide range of skills associated within Beauty industry. Graduates of the Certificate IV course – often enrol in the full-time Diploma of Beauty Therapy to complete their full range of skills required to operate as a fully qualified Beauty Therapist in the industry.

We have Beauty and Spa salon training held within a retail environment. This opens up many opportunities for students to function in a ‘real life’ environment and gain valuable skills in interacting with clients and the daily running of a retail spa. The program includes valuable clinic training with actual clients and a rare opportunity to complete industry experience in a retail spa.

Location	Broadbeach Campus. Makeup and Spa Salons
Delivery Hours	(QTH Recommended) 1 day a week / 1.5 years. Students will be required to complete Block training of 2 weeks full time in course duration (This may include 1 week blocks during holiday periods). Students will also complete min 15 days in clinic & complete 2 weeks full- time (not all at once) in industry placement/ salon experience. Students are required to complete research and homework hours that is related to assessment tasks. Students that undertake this course of study must prioritise their training times / days required to complete the course within the set time-frame. (This means that your course commitments override your outside work commitments).
